What time is check-in/check-out?
Check-in begins at 3:00pm
Please let us know if you will be arriving later than 7:00pm.
Check-out time is 10:00am
What is your cancellation policy?
A 30 day notice is required for a refund of your deposit, minus a 3% processing fee.
If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled arrival date, you will be charged the full amount of the reservation (deposit plus remaining balance).
I paid my deposit. When do I pay the remaining balance?
You pay the remaining balance upon check-out. The card you used to pay the deposit will be charged unless you choose to use an alternative payment method.
What is the difference between a full kitchen and a kitchenette?
They both have a full-size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, a table and chairs, and all cooking (pots, pans, etc.) and eating supplies (dishes, drinkware, utensils, etc). The only difference is that the full kitchen has a regular stove/oven and the kitchenette has a two-burner countertop stove and no oven.
Do you provide bedding and towels?
Yes, we provide all bedding and towels.
Do you provide maid service?
We do not provide maid service however our housekeepers can come by daily to replace towels and remove trash.
Is there a smoking area at Emery's Cottages?
No, we are a non-smoking property.
Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately, we do not allow any pets.
How close are the cottages to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park?
We are located 5 miles from downtown Bar Harbor and 2 miles from the Acadia National Park entrance.
Can we bring our own kayaks/SUPs/canoes?
Yes, there is plenty of room to store them on our kayak rack.
